What is there to say about the past week, well it’s certainly not been a very busy week, it’s been a strange week with some doing well and others well they aren’t disappointed but they thought they would have done a lot better, last Sunday was great with everyone fishing all catching average 6 fish each. Monday was blistering hot seeing Sandy Band on 1, Tuesday Willie Watson on 17 plus a bucket load of perch, Karl Cooke 6 and Kev Dickson a few perch, nobody out on Wednesday two on Thursday, my weekly pensioners who normally get 3 or 4 each, however this week Eck on 11 and Sandy on 9 twenty to the boat, all that on a really hot day and no perch, Friday Dave Wilson on 6 plus a couple of big hard fighting Tigers, his boat partner on 15 all good fighting rainbows, A Robertson and Jim Taylor 3 , M&J Beaumont had 3 bows and 50 perch, so its just a weather related thing but the days are nice, wild life is still good and with the rain we have had albeit just a wee drop, it should be enough to freshen things up, two hardy photographers this week Debi Bell and John McRobbie, hoping to see more anglers now it has rained,
