Been a great spell of weather lately, perhaps just a wee bit too hot for the fish, but who’s caring, for some its means they can sit back, relax and enjoy their day at fishing, for others its too warm, and it means the fish ain’t playing, however most if not all have enjoyed the day and are happy in the knowledge that they caught a few in extremely hot conditions, mornings have been very good up till about 10.30 and the early birds have seen amazing catches, the evening rise doesn’t really start till about 6.30 pm, and that’s if it happens, however everyone is happy, comments are that the water is crystal clear, no weed problems, the fish are striking hard the one that do and are putting up a great fight, pulling hard, but it not all plain sailing take tonight Sunday for example Huff and Puff arriving late afternoon for an evening session, as the wind dropped as it always does there were masses of fish rising in all areas, when I spoke to them at 5 they had 2 and 1, I came up to the house noting the temperature at 14 degrees later about 7 it had dropped to 8 and I knew that was going to spoil their night, yet on there finishing the catch was Huff 5 and Puff 2, both happy commenting that they saw loads, doing well this week was Willie Watson here on his usual Tuesday he caught and returned a reasonable catch, This week’s Photos are from Debi Bell, she certainly has an eye for a god picture
