Since last week the weather has been atrocious we had anglers on Saturday and Sunday after that it was a howling wind Monday saw John Bowman catch 5 all returned till the wind got to bad and he gave up, meanwhile, Sandy Band back on form on the bank, after his time off manged a few using a gold head daddy , the next day not quite as windy but still pretty rough saw Mark Chesser, Dave Nicoll and Jim Stuart arrive, Mark 4, Dave 2 and Jim 1, also G McGough and C Wyllie were on the loch and only managed to catch Perch, Still windy saw two out on Wednesday, C McKay and C Finlay 2 and 1 plus 2 lost again a really windy day, Thursday saw Jim and George out the weather was ok but turned into a strong breeze by the time the lads from the Wellbeing group arrived 13 today and brilliantly the fishing is improving, John 1 returned, Llyod 4 returned, George only 1 this week but by 1oclock the weather was horrendous cold wet and windy, it was the start of the storm that lasted 3 days of continual rain, on \Friday Sandy Band and I were having a chat about the condition of the loch and I remarked about how pleased I was at the purity of the crystal clear water and the lack of weed, he agreed and said that there were a loads of fish showing and feeding, now after the storm the water is chocolate and really stirred up C.E. Waglie and G McBargh caught 1 each over the weekend. Now it took 9 minutes 16 seconds to empty each boat, that was the average over 6 boats, my pump is pumping 1 gallon every 6 seconds, rounded down to the nearest ½ gallon, how much water did I pump yesterday, first to get it right gets a free session.
