Wow its back to being cold today, Brass Monkeys, spring to mind, however the sun was shining bright producing a wee bit heat, but it was cold, the fishing pretty much just switched off, compared to yesterday Saturday when Rod Thaw had his best day ever 20+ fish all caught and released using damsel flies and buzzers, also fishing was Darin Taylor who had 8 but yesterday was so different there were fish feeding and showing in all areas, I mean it just shows the difference between the type of fisheries that are about, ours is completely natural and we try hard to make it like that, the others well they have massive catches sometimes 40 maybe 50+ fish caught and monsters as well, everyone from kids to G/Dads getting in on the action, whereas here its more about the skill and technique and if the fish are feeding (on natural food ) which is the key point, Friday for example saw Jock Souter get 4, A Morgan 2, A Cuthbert 13, B Mitchell 3, Geoff Gadd 12,Sandy Band 9, and then Sunday happened a cold East wind a few lads having Blanks as the fish just switched off, George Duff from Buckhaven persevered and true to form everything changed back in the late afternoon and he was rewarded with 5 fish that were carefully returned
