Water level is now 100% back to normal, the water is crystal clear and weed free, fish are covering the whole loch, but there are some spots fishing better than others, it seems to be the earlier you get here the better the spot, but in saying that there are fish to be found, Four novice anglers here on Friday, basically for an afternoon away from a hectic schedule of normal life, and boy did they have a great time, with fish showing all around them and nibbling there flies, plus catches were made, making it a very pleasant days fun, the fishing is pretty much as it should be, the fish just now aren’t stockies but acclimatised trout, there are some cracking fish to be caught A Morgan back from a summer sabbatical had a good day with 10 all released, Mark Chesser 7 returned, Dave Wilson had 15 plus a good sized Tiger, Darin Taylor also had a Tiger he reckoned to be 5lbs +, Ronnie Mc Donald had a rainbow in his catch of 6 which he reckoned was easily 8lbs, George Duff (having a great day 9 returned on dries, snatchers and hoppers, been a strange week with winds but the last 4 days were windless however a Northwind on Monday, Les Mitchell had 4 and lost 3 while Lloyd John caught 12 all top of the water, we hired a rather large Cherry Picker to trim trees up the side of the loch, which was done on Saturday the rest of the time is to be fixing cctv stuff and lights
