“The Goldenloch”
November-12-2020-Week-44
So trying to filter through the rules as to what is allowed and what isn’t, seems now that Fife is in “Tier – 3” we are subject to only being able to travel within our local authority region, i.e., FIFE, reading the government guidelines, which really say very little about angling, or what fisheries should or shouldn’t be doing, we therefore have to assume that as we are NOT in lockdown, we can still allow fishing on our Stillwater’s, however the rules which are now in place re the social distancing, wearing face masks, hand sanitising, more than ever must be adhered too, Our Boats are meters in Length and the main seats are meters apart, however if an angler wishes to be one on a boat that’s fine, our equipment is still being sanitised,
It is one person in the lodge at any time and in filling in your catch return, it is now a legal requirement that for track and trace you leave either an email address of a mobile phone number, all this is to ensure that the fishery stays open Please adhere to the rules, I will not be available as much as I used to be, basically I have to be very careful with who I am contact with, but still I do hope that anglers visiting “The Goldenloch” will enjoy their visit, STAY SAFE and tight lines.
BASIC RULES are mostly common sense, however as a guide,
Social distancing must be adhered too, please park sensibly giving ample room.
Hand sanitiser and disinfectant sprays are freely available.
Barbless Hooks only, Fish must not be handled, only killing fish allows hands on.
Own Nets to be disinfected at net station or use our nets which are available.
No trawling is permitted nor boat movement by an electric outboard.
Drifting is permitted only when there is no risk of interfering with other anglers.
Bank anglers have priority over boat, therefore require casting distance.
Please take rubbish home not into the loch
