“The Goldenloch”
September-28th-2020-Week-38
Another week of mixed fortunes, however the weather was pretty much to blame for some, The Sun was brilliant, bright, very high on Monday and Tuesday, meaning that the fish were deep down, because the water is so clean and clear, very little shade is on offer, however for those adapting to the conditions, fishing with floating lines and sinking tips, the rewards were really good, Rod Thaw had an amazing amount of fish, |Grant McGregor had 16, Neil Christie with his son in law Gary Crystal lost a few but captured 2 on a white Lure, Kapt Kemp I think had 4 returning 1 but he also lost a few, Brian Imrie returned 5 using a yellow dancer, Callum Robertson 11 returned, Eddie Henderson 1 caught but lost several, Derek Robertson 16 returned PTN and hot hear hares ear, Grant McGregor back with his pal Ali, they had 9 each and both enjoyed a warmish day, Thursday onwards saw a strong North wind over the loch and again the fishing suffered, due this time to the cold, however those managing to fish in these conditions were successful in catching a few, Dave Wilson 6 keeping 3, G Johnston 5 J Watson 8 both lads having so many misses and lost fish, others were getting 2s or 3s most importantly everyone fishing were enjoying there session which is what going fishing is all about.
