So this week we took some time out for a well deserved break, a family holiday to Centre Parcs, which I would recommend to those that have never been, a tad expensive, or it could have been, but we were forewarned, take grub, especially snacks, try and cook your own evening meals, the wee lodges have everything, you need, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, log burning stove, central heating they are spotless on arrival, just perfect, the weather was horrendous but being in a forest we didn’t really notice, back now and its still cold its very cold, fish don’t like cold especially after a lot of rain, so I was pleasantly surprised to see the catches book had a few names in it with some reasonable catches, Michael Guild 2 returned Yellow dancer, A Morgan 12 returned static bloodworm, Arthur Hendry 5 returned , but it was a cold week Neil Christie only caught 1 but I think he lost a few, Brian Dewar today had 8 and Alec Burns 4, It is Mid January and the weather can only get cooler so we shall be waiting on March for some warmer weather which really isn’t far away. My home computer which has served me well has finally died or rather is dying, so pictures at the mo are no longer new, due not being able to get them of my phone so to cheer anglers up some stock summer pictures
