Do I feel sorry for myself, yep,+ + I am so so sore, never ever have I been in so much pain, plus the unplanned dip in the loch has brought back a rotten cold, its all just hellish, the weather is also so crap, cormorants have come back, not been here for weeks, arrived back on Friday afternoon, plus the Osprey, which by all accounts looks about as bad as me, absolutely terrible, saw it sitting on a fence post, its feathers are all sticking out and she looks thin, nature sure is strange, the last two or three years @ “The Goldenloch” has seen us here try to provide better access for all types of people, healthy or otherwise, simple things, like vehicle access, right up to the waters edge, back rests / seats on the jetties, seats all round the loch, vehicles right up to the boats for batteries and boxes, people health and fitness can be jeopardised by all sorts of things, diabetes, hips knees loss of limbs, on the fishing side we offer for a true Fly Fishing Angler, two ticket prices ½ day £15 or full day {8hours} £20, only flies that resemble flies that are traditional or can be found naturally, we want you to feel like it is your place while you are here, no one will bother you unless you request help, beginners and youths as usual fish for free, its boat or bank or both, to celebrate the start of the 2019 fishing season I am getting delivered this week a load of yearling brown trout, these are for consumption, there is nothing tastier than a pan sized brownie, but for those that return them we can work out some form of reward scheme, the water clarity is amazing just now but the temperature is still at 6 degrees and the O2 level is still at high, kind off what I would expect, the last week has been quiet but everyone fishing has caught 2 or 3 fish some more than that, I read in a report somewhere that two lads out fishing last week caught 150 fish in one session, now that seems to be and amazing amount of fish jabbed, to be honest its well over £700 quid’s worth of fish, that will be lying low for a while, I wonder what they paid for there session £20 perhaps, what I do know is that 100% any angler here at “The Goldenloch” would have stopped and made it harder for himself or herself, or at most started experimenting with flies they wouldn’t normally have used, I wonder if it were a “Whotsit” or a “Mop Fly” or similar, they were using, something that the fish positively loved, or was it that the fish were stocked the day before, as so many places seem to be doing that as well, stocking, waving a flag “hey all” come here catch a big fish, the whole art /science / pleasure of fly fishing is being destroyed by a few, its sad to see it happen, it is greed, not financial greed, but the social media type publicity, what is this year 2019 going to be like, average catch numbers (20+) average size/ weight (18 lbs) Best Fly ( Pink Qiggly Thing) all for £10 for 24hrs fishing
