Its been a very busy day, for me anyway, However, Dave Wilson and Rod Thaw had a most restful day, lazing on the bank getting up occasionally to catch a few more fish, then going back to sleep, for a wee while, the fishing today is just Ace, so last night was a bit poorish only a small hatch after a wet day, but the fishing wasn’t a disaster Huff had 4 and Puff 3 another had 4, all others had 2 with some returning a couple as well,Russel Hall only had 1 but lost some, two nights ago was a great night with a massive hatch, and rising fish, nae stockie bashing, just pure rising feeding fish, loads of swallows, swifts, sandmartins and bats feeding as well, tonight is amazing, nobody off yet but I can see some very happy chappies, fish are everywhere, and that means all over the loch, the water is clear and pretty much the weed is clearly defined in certain areas, great for those wanting to fish dry flies, up the bank side the channel is 100% weed free, O2 after the rain is at 98% catches have been mostly on dry flies, buzzers, and nymphs with one lad dapping on Thursday, however, his silk was 20+ years old and just disintegreated, Nige Hutchison a regular Photograper here at the “Goldenloch” has just put together a wee video which I think is superb and I have copied it here for all to see, Nige and John Brown have consistantly captured some amazing pictures and with other photgraphers it is all about getting the taste of Scotland from behind a lens https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWbudPG3nlc&feature=share
