June 25th -Week-25-2018
Having just had a summer cold like I have never had before, today Monday feels better, like it is at last is leaving me, the only time when you have a cold that you feel good is being outside, so being down at the loch or out in a boat was really good, also isn’t this weather amazing, the loch is fishing like its never fished before, so the weeds are beginning to become a nuisance, but only in certain places, a big attack this week by the lads should see an easy and quick improvement, the water is still crystal clear and with the recent temperature drop has settled down nicely, if when you are in a boat and you look over the side, the fish can be easily seen cruising about, the water just now is stuffed with shrimp and stonefly larvae, damsel hatches have never been bigger than this year, the buzzer hatch that must be happening really early am leaves zillions of shells lying on the surface, the colours are awesome, but really the truth about the “Goldenloch” is that it would seem everyone is leaving here feeling relaxed and happy with their days fishing, Brian Kemp, Glenrothes 2 for 6lbs on a Kat McClarren, Allan Hyndman 2 for 4.5lbs plus 14 returned, Dunked, Sedge, Dries, Brian Stewart Dundee 7 all returned, Peter Hayes, Kirkcaldy Peters days just get better and better, C Mackenzie and A Scobie Early bird Shift had 9 each all returned all on nymphs and CDC Jim Paton Auchtermuchty 2 red diawl Bach, P Cacha, 8 all returned static buzzers, Colin Hay 5 returned silver Zulu, peter Ross, Mike Linton 3 returned all on Sedge Hogs, its good all good only one person blanked and he was teaching his son to fish but even at that they lost a few.
