Goldenloch sept -08-, week 34, 2014
What a really nice week, still warm, slight breeze, bright and cloudy days, flies hatching, anglers all having a good time, just perfect, not much to say really, fish generally are getting caught on buzzers and CDCs with the occasional ones getting caught on sedges and dry flies, last Thursday and Friday were a bit slow mostly due to the massive swing in air pressure that looked like it was going to cause a thunderstorm that never happened, but by mid morning Saturday, everything was back to normal, comments about the fish are good just now with everyone saying that they are in perfect nick and are really exceptionally well formed with a nice colouring, good to see another angler return after a long spell with cancer and straight into catching fish was Adam Crockart, Edinburgh, looking very fit with his much slimmer body he was given the all clear last week and fishing two days later, catching 2 and releasing 2 not bad after 4 years away, The last tagged fish was caught this last week and with the gent not wishing the prize money, we have decided to put in some special fish using that cash, so as from the middle of this week there is going to be something’s worth catching. The bank fishing has become a very leisurely spot these last few weeks its interesting to note just how popular the big chairs have become, so we may put in another few, but certainly they are being well used.
