Goldenloch december 16 week 48
Cold and colder, it’s freezing but its good and crisp, the fishing isn’t busy but then we wouldn’t expect it to be, but some days it can be warmer and then things happen, Saturday past saw a couple of lads out and while the sun shone they caught fish using buzzers and small mini lures, Sunday, was bitter cold and there wasn’t a fish to be seen, during the week we had Billy Fraser and Simon —— from Glasgow, who are working at the station in Perth, both excellent anglers and well togged up, arrived at 8 am they firstly went on the bank and one caught two, but it was latter after a while on the boats with limited success, that they went back on the bank and ended up catching between them a total of 17 fish, it was a good day and both lads commented that the fish were really giving it everything hard knocks and a good fight it seemed like they were feeding on something quite close in to the side, Martin Nicol Perth our regular also had a couple but it was a very cold day and he didn’t stay to long, John and Anne would like to take this opportunity to wish all a very Happy Christmas and hope that Santa is good to you as usual anyone can ruck up here at ant time, if it is the case that you get new gear please remember we still do schools and youngsters mostly for free and do give out kit to those that can make good use out of it, we can take your old kit and recycle it, anyway Merry Christmas to all
