goldenloch november 18 week
At the Goldenloch its been quiet these last few days but its also been very cold, with a few guys fishing, the catches can best be described as sporadic, if that’s the right word, some days its very easy and others like there were no fish in the water, yesterday Sunday saw a few lads fishing and all day there were just an occasional fish showing its self and only a few being caught Sam Angus had two plus a broken rod, not a great day for him whilst arriving very late on was Terry Anderson, Glenfarg who had spent all day setting up his new rod, desperate to try it out went out as darkness was falling, an hour later he was back in to say that there were fish everywhere and that he had put back three, but that was just typical of the week that has just gone past every night or rather day it has been extremely cold or windy but nearly every night it has got mild around 5pm, most people at this time of year especially if its been cold all day have had enough by mid afternoon and are ready to go home, the fish getting caught just now are in tip top condition, with 3 lbs seemingly being pretty normal, Sam had caught a good one, Brian Stewart Dundee said that everyone he caught was about 3lbs, it seems that the fish have done really well on the grub that’s available, Friday saw four young lads out fishing, they were having a half day and whilst they were using quite big lures it was interesting to note one catching 5, one 3, another 1 and the last lad leaving as he wasn’t feeling well, with them in the same area most of the time they didn’t notice Don Stewart and John Grey steadily catching fish using a fraction of the effort and generally having a much more relaxed time as that’s what it all about, just relaxing and enjoying the day.
