Goldenloch august 12 week 30
Its been another quietish week at the Goldenloch, but that’s not to say its been totally uneventful, our most successful anglers visits twice maybe three times a day, and they catch within minutes of arriving, actually there are two or three coming now, we should be all romantic and give them proper names, like Lady Bella or Queen Anne or Golden Girl, but Ill just stick with those F——– ospreys, they do a fair bit of damage and with anglers occasionally saying things like, some of your fish are quite badly marked or even caught a fish with a big chunk out of its side or back so I put it back, please don’t do that, why would you do that, its just going to die anyway, but before it does it will suffer an agonising death, knock it on the head and either leave it on the shore for the buzzer or the sea eagles, I can guarantee you, it will be gone in hours, we are putting in another load this week not that we really need to, but Bob Bruce and Andy Fraser were out on Saturday, and with Bob blanking yet again, seriously I don’t understand how he does it, when other catch so many, Andy managed five and had a load of offers, that’s just typical of how its been for he last week or so, Don Stewart fishing with his brother in law John on Friday, caught 15 for the boat with everything getting caught using traditional flies + Last weekend was in near perfect conditions and youngster, Sam Angus, Perth, brought his pal Mark Chen, also from Perth, Mark never having fished before was shown and instructed by Sam, with both boys venturing out they had a great day, Sam keeping 2 for 6 1/4 lbs returning 3 getting them on snatchers and daddies, Mark keeping 1 for 2 lbs and returning 2 he was using a yellow dancer and sometimes a daddy, looking at the book I can see that Ronnie Forsyth, Glenrothes had a good day with 2 for 5 lbs and 6 returned, Trevor Patterson Lochore also had a good day with 8 all on red buzzers, so all in all a good weeks fishing.
