During the last week we have seen the outside temperatures fall back to early February levels, and the wind pick up to what it was like in the later parts of last year, as a result the fishing in the last week has been pretty poor, mostly because it was so uncomfortable for the anglers but also due to the fact that fish were getting used to the rising temperature only to be confronted with a sudden sharp drop in temperature, it has just made them sit on the bottom, for those that were getting great fun before it suddenly became pretty hard and miserable, Its not been bad for everyone, Shaun Pairman had a good day on Saturday getting himself a 6lb rainbow on his third cast and then another at 2lbs using a mini cats and a snatcher combination, well its march and the weather can be very unpredictable so we will just have to see what happens this week.
