Fishing at the Goldenloch has been a little easier this past week with the weather being much kinder on the anglers, however it is definitely fishing much better in the early morning than it does in the afternoon, it is also much warmer in the mornings as well, S MCarthy, Lochore, fishing with his father M Cuthill, Falkland had an early start and caught 4 fish quite quickly as did Ray Eastwood Bankfoot who always returns everything, C Kirk, Methven, using a gold head hares ear and black buzzers had 4 C& R as did J Patterson Cupar, Jim Wilson Dalgety Bay, arrived on Sunday and without his usual rod as he forgot it, he fished using small black buzzers, however he had noticed that there was a hatch starting, with a very small greyish fly and having nothing to imitate it he just stuck with what he had and it worked well for him, surprised at his day he commented that for as cold as it was he had never seen so many fish rising to flies for a long time.
