Week ending 26/09/05 goldenloch
At the Goldenloch everyone this past week has had full catches and more, the bigger fish that have been eluding the anglers efforts all summer, are also now starting to take an interest in flies, Bob Cox, Dundee on a day ticket had 4 in the boat and had returned a few was having his last cast when he hooked a magnificent rainbow, rich in colour with large tail and fins this chap from the deep was not giving up easy, Bob an experienced angler for many years was most impressed with its fight and quality, also getting some of these older fish was K McKay, Dundee who landed 2 for 11lbs, 1 at 5lbs and 1 at 6lbs, Mr Iain Crichton had 1 in his bag of 4 at 6lbs and Mr J Jendrycha had 1 at 6lbs in his bag of 4. Father and son, Mr and Master, Gibson fishing from the bank had 4 for 10lbs, both being very new to the sport, getting 4 was an excellent result, as the pair had lost so many on a previous visit. Mr Mike Aitkin, Ladybank, is another newbie starting to get really good results after acquiring much better lines and flies, Mike is determined to master the sport and comes to relax and unwind from a very busy schedule, only to get frustrated by the fish splashing all around his boat eventually he calms and the angling just clicks, The water clarity is good but can be dirtied by high winds the temperature is 12 and getting cooler.
