Week ending 04/07/05 goldenloch
Conditions at the Goldenloch over this past weekend improved dramatically with the Algae finally dying right back almost and immediately the fish have responded by reappearing and behaving like they should, this years conditions have only been worsened by the huge extremes in the weather, anglers have had to change their tactics during this spell and only the guys that were prepared caught fish, with this phase now nearly passed we can only hope that the evening rise will start to come forward in time as it is currently about 10.30 when the fish are freely working the surface, however in the mornings at around 7 till 8 it is very good. All anglers are reminded that all tackle that goes in the water, must be disinfected both before and after your session, failure to do so and you will be asked to leave. Mr John Leckie Strathmiglo had 5 3 for 6.5lbs on buzzers, Jim Wilson 3 for 7lbs on Diawl Bachs and a black Pennal, Peter Wood Star 3 and his son Mater G Wood, 1 on a black and green lure, Mr Alex Wilson Glenrothes fishing early morning had 3 using a black spider.
