Week ending 21/02/05 goldenloch
With really cold weather expected this past weekend anglers at the Goldenloch were surprised to get flat calm warm weather and great fishing, Mr Bob Cox and Mr Ged Burnett both from Dundee had 6 using Damsels and Diawl Bachs in their catch for 14 lbs, one was a gorgeous blue trout of 2.5lbs another person getting a 2.5lb Blue was lady angler Miss A Downie Star of Markinch, on her first ever fishing trip and obviously her first ever fish was a 2.5lb Blue caught using a black and Green mini cat her instructor Mr P Wood had 2 for 5lbs however he did manage to fall in the water by stepping of the side of the jetty while playing a fish this he said was purely down to the fact that he was determined to catch a fish that was as good as the one that his partner had caught, Mr A Richardson Pittenweem had a really good day with 3 in the bag for 9lbs and 7 returned using an Orange Fritz as did Messrs Duke and Richardson, Carnoustie who on a relatively short visit had 4 between them for 11lbs using a yellow dancer and a black viva.
