Week ending 31/01/05 goldenloch
At the Goldenloch these past few days it has been like summer, an outside temperature of 15 C has seen the fish moving on the surface looking for grub, anglers have been rewarded with good catches and a pleasant feel to their fishing, lets hope that this good weather stays and that the angling season is less windy, getting it right was Mr Pete Fleming, G Brown, D Logie, S Puel all from Methil using damsels and diawl bachs had a great day with a bag of 30lbs of fish and an empty crisp packet that when hooked felt like a monster, the lads just enjoyed the day, also getting a good bag of fish were Messer’s Burnett and Cox with 18 lbs of fish between them again using diawl bachs Mr S Ewart from Kinross arriving quite late went on the bank until a boat was free and from the top jetty landed himself a gorgeous 6 lb rainbow he then from a boat caught a further 2 for 4lbs With the 2005 stocking well underway anglers will be looking forward to a good season, however please remember that this year more than ever before that equipment hygiene and health and safety regulations will play an important part in your days leisure.
