Anglers with a smile on thier faces
With anglers at the Goldenloch now preparing for the colder weather catches have been got just under or on the surface, using traditional Scottish wets and or buzzers, and the odd angler is still sticking with hoppers and daddies, Mr Dean Harrow and son, Coaltown of Balgonie on a father and son ticket had a great night despite the wind caught 4 for 10lbs using an ace of spades, fantastic sport was his comment as he described how the fish had been crashing through the waves to get to his flies, another angler having a good time was Mr H Mailer from Stanley who using a Damsel caught 3 for 6lbs and described his visit as brilliant he had also returned a few including a this season brownie which gave him a fight to remember and was only about a lb in weight, Mr Willie Hutch fishing for only his second time had a good day and managed after losing loads to catch a fish weighing 2 lbs on a red thing with wings well done to him.
