Fantastic fishing weather
Conditions at the Goldenloch were near perfect at the weekend and the catches reflected this Mr George McRoby, Abernethy using buzzers had 9 from various parts of the loch, and the Errol Lads Mr J Pollock, and Mr Donald McConnoch again using buzzers had 3 each for a total weight of 14lbs, Derek Bell, Newburgh using Pheasant tailed nymphs had 3 for 7lbs on Saturday and 3 for 8lbs on Sunday Mr J Sutherland fishing on Sunday evening from the bank had a great time with 3 taken for 6lbs and many lost and returned all on small buzzers, Mr John Leckie, Strathmiglo had good fun from the far end of the loch with 3 taken on a black spider also returning 3. Improvements at the loch have been carried out this last week and the near bank is having a road way constructed for the use of the less abler anglers allowing them to take their cars to the jetties complete with their tackle boxes, also the new bank opposite has been widened allowing longer casting to take place.
