Wild and windy weather
Anglers arriving at the Goldenloch expected a wild time with the forecasted wild weekends weather were indeed met with almost idyllic conditions, Mr Ian Wallace, Kirkcaldy caught 5 keeping 1 at 3.5lbs decided after going home to come back and fish again getting another bag of 5 this time returning all, likewise Mr P Fleming, Methil usually a summer man had 6 returning 4 and keeping 2 for 5lbs, The fish generally seem to be in large groups and rise according to the weather and or cloud cover with Sunday being very bright and clouds coming only occasionally anglers were given treats every time it became dull, on the bank were Mr W Davidson and Mr B Conners, Dundee who could not believe that there were so many fish feeding in the shallows, both lads using consort budgies and gold head Montana’s had a great time with 8 and 9 being caught and all returned, the day before at the same spot were Mr T Garrigan, Glenrothes and Mr F McDonald, Dundee on a £20 day ticket one had 4 for 8lbs and the other 4 for 9lbs again both lads having a ball.
