Goldenloch jan -12-, week 03, 2015
Well that week passed quick, storm after storm and to crown it all its plastic bin day today so everyone put out there bins last night and we have plastic bits everywhere, so whilst everyone is away to work I suppose muggings will be picking it all up, otherwise its going to be all over Fife, fishing has been pretty quiet apart from Martin who turns up nearly everyday catches a couple and leaves, and last weeks hero’s who had the whole loch to themselves and completely fell out with each other, neither catching any fish as most of their time was spent shouting at each other, so with the weather set to snow what can we expect, well today is 5.5 o C and the wind is about 10mph which is not uncomfortable its very pleasant actually outside, no cormorants yet but I have heard that they are murdering a neighbouring fishery and there were 23 on that water, so today I will have to buy more ammo, Saturday afternoon was very pleasant day and with a friend we were down at the loch having a look at the water levels, there were fish moving in lots of places and we saw several jumping in one area which I would be fair to assume were brown trout, the ground is wet however and we were sinking into it, boats are out the water but are perched nearly on the balance on the jetty sides, one person can easily push one in the water, its actually pleasant out there now think I will go down and bail out the boats.
