Week ending 04/10/04 goldenloch horrendous weather conditions but amazing catches
Fishing at the Goldenloch for most is for relaxing and enjoying their chosen sport that gives a really natural challenge, we again this summer have had horrendous weather conditions making conditions unpleasant and unbearable, this week was no different weather wise, but the catches have been outstanding for those wishing to brave the elements Mr Jim Young, Glenrothes in his bag had a 10lb rainbow with huge tail and fins that gave him a fight worth remembering also Mr Iain Ramage, Cupar had a bag weighing 10lbs all caught using olive Damsel’s, Grant Mc Gregor, Kirkcaldy had 3 and was broken twice using 6 lb nylon, Mr A Nellie, Coaltown fishing from the bank had so many offers, releasing 6 and bagging 3 for 9lbs absolutely fantastic sport was his comments also fishing from the bank was Jim Wilson, Dalgety Bay who had using hoppers and small dry flies 9 his comments were that the fish were coming from all directions and just hammering his flies.
