Another week at the Goldenloch and for most its been really good with a lot of big fish getting caught and I promise these are not big fish that I am buying but fish that have grown during the last few months due to the huge amount of feeding that has been available, the fishing just now is very sensitive to big weather changes, one day flat calm and the next a howling gale, fish do not like this and tend to lie low in the water hiding till the weather settles down again Russell Robertson, Glenfarg had a 6lb in his bag of 3 all caught using a diawl bach, Ian Ramage, Cupar had 3 for 11lbs with one at 5-5lbs using a Montana, Father and son team the Westlands from Falkland had 3 each on a day ticket plus a few put back the average size was about 4lbs and everyone a fighter, this being a comment from every angler this year that the quality and fight from the fish is superb, so what’s making the fish bite, well it doesn’t seem to be buzzers although there are the odd few guys still catching on them what seems to be doing the trick is the good old diawl bach or Montana with a few also using vivas, however from what the anglers are saying it seems that the fish are active just under the surface and the ones that are jumping and showing are after something that people just cant find and the one that are taking are taking quite soft. For those that are interested i have been adding a few more new vidioes
