This has really been a trying week, those that say otherwise are no quite being honest, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday we had an East wind blowing, it was cold, before that up till Tuesday the fishing was brilliant, Brian Imrie’s and Thomas Dagan ( Con ) to everyone had a great day on Monday Brian Wrote, (Weather was damn near perfect and with fish rising all around us a memorable day was ensured. 12 to the boat with most of them coming to Con’s rod pulling buzzers and fabs. Dries weren’t quite working so I changed to the same and managed 3 to the net.) yesterday spoke with a couple of fish suppliers who both said that they have had so many fisheries on the phone wanting more fish, as nobody is catching just now, which is most certainly not why I was on the phone, one night I was watching the telly all about Steelheads, how hard they fight, if I can get some its worth a try, however here at the Goldenloch we have plenty fish in the water just now, that’s why we have two or three visiting Ospreys, what is wrong with the fishing is the conditions, plus the Air Pressure had dropped dramatically for three days, so the fish would drop to the bottom of the loch and stay there, I was hoping over the weekend it would improve, which it has done a little, Saturday was good Rod Thaw had a belter of a day with David Wilson, Plus they had a company of Ospreys visiting, we seem to have two adult Osprey plus one juvenile, a big plus is they seem to like the Perch just now, Ken O’Keefe and John McRobbie getting some amazing wildlife shots, I like it when I don’t have to take the pictures their photography is on a different level, I am sure that the warm weather isn’t far away, I mean we have had a really bright sun which feels warm yet is totally cancelled out by the sun.
