Goldenloch 25/02/2008
The last week at the Goldenloch has seen some pretty poor weather but it all got much better on Sunday and with only 6 lads fishing and quite a windy start to the day I wasn’t so sure how what like a day it was going to be, during the week we had the odd person fishing and all had caught fish Martin Nicol, Perth was out on Friday and although very windy he had caught 5 saying that there was a big improvement on the week before when it was very cold, Alan Gibson Bridge of Earn was out on Saturday and he had a few as was Ray Easton who had 8 Catch and release, well Sundays boys had a storming day Rudy Kopczyk Kilmany had 3 rainbows for 7lbs, Jim Ward 3 for 8lbs, and Paul Watt, Glenrothes, 9 with his pal Andrew getting 8, Jim Wilson who arrived late and was fishing from the bank had his best day for a long time catching 9 which were all put back, so why has the fishing suddenly got much better well the water temperature has risen above 4 degrees and the air pressure is now rising it can only be those reasons.
