Week ending 29/oct/07 goldenloch
At the Goldenloch now that the temperature has dropped the fishing is just unbelievable that nearly every angler this past week has caught their maximum limit, which is the first 3 killed and then 6 more all returned, but the hooks must be debarbed, to list those in a report would take up to much space however we will be watching those that are fishing catch and release and would emphasize that we prefer that the fish are not removed from the water so as they are not handled it has been noted that some anglers are just unhooking and throwing the fish back this is not how we would expect catch and release to be done, so if someone shouts at you its only me, it is very pleasing for us to get comments about the fishing and the fishery and we are just happy that you are having a good time, only to-day a gentleman commented that as he now only fishes once or twice a year that he comes here because he just enjoys being able to relax in a friendly unflustered situation and that he can take his time getting set up and not having to hike or struggle to go either bank or boat fishing, which brings me to another point would anglers please take their rubbish home or at least put it in the bin and if you are in a boat try to shake the mud off the anchor before brining it into the boat sometimes it makes me wonder what kind of homes some of you live in or is it just that you have very good wives that tidy up behind you, I know that if I came in with muddy clothes I would be made strip of at the door, so I am not asking to much just a little bit of an effort. With the summer season now well and truly finished we are into winter season tickets which are priced the way you would wish, you decide how many visits you would like to have and then x £15 then deduct 20% and pay me so a 10 visit ticket would be £150-(20% =£30)=£120. Hope you understand what I am saying here it’s a lot easier to explain when I am saying it to your face, happy fishing.
