Week ending 12/feb/07 goldenloch
With ice covering the Goldenloch for most of the past week it was refreshing to see the mild weather arrive on Sunday, however the anglers that turned up decided that the wind was just to powerful to be able to fish and enjoy, so we had a very quiet day, Mr M Donaldson, Glenrothes arrived at 1pm and for the first hour was wondering why he came as the wind was pushing him everywhere, then around 2 it disappeared completely and a flat eerie calm set in, catching one from the boat and one from the jetty which was lost at netting he enjoyed his days fishing albeit on his own, on Tuesday past Messrs Currie and Paton had an extremely good day with a total of 12 caught, D Currie had 3 Rainbows for 6lbs and Jim Paton 1 for 3lbs and a total of 9 returned however the lads from Spittalfield only managed 1 between them.
