Week ending 01/05/06 goldenloch
At last the warmer weather has allowed the anglers at the Goldenloch to disperse with their big heavy waterproofs and with the warmer weather comes rising fish and fish jumping for flies’, catches have been excellent and everybody has been getting loads of offers and most importantly pleasure from their days fishing, Mr John Reid Glenrothes started off very quick on Saturday morning by managing to put a hook into himself but a quick removal by Jake allowed him to go fishing and catch 3 for 7lbs and return 3, Early Saturday, Pete Fleming, Methil and John Leckie, Strathmiglo could do nothing wrong, they were both using yellow dancers with both men getting fish with nearly every second cast the laughter and excitement was ringing round the loch. Another lad having a great day was I Stewart, Kinglassie who using a pheasant tailed nymph caught 3 for 8lbs and returned a few coming of the water with a big smile after having his best days fishing for a long time, similarly the lads from Dunning on Sunday using buzzers and fishing from the bank and boats, all caught loads of fish a most enjoyable and relaxing day was had by all. At the Goldenloch we wish that everybody enjoys their visit and that they leave with a catch however your safety is also part of our interest, we have lifejackets available for all so please wear them.
