November-21st<\/sup> \u2013Week 47-2016<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Its Monday 6.55am, as expected the loch is frozen over, its black dark outside, weather station has packed in, display says battery failure, I assume the cold has done that, zero wind and thank god for central heating, that\u2019s one thing about living out in the country, you need good central heating, so how about the fishing, its not been an overly busy week, been steady, but its been a very successful one, however one lad yesterday, no names, he blanked, but he had a massive cheery smile, he did say it was his fault that he blanked as there were fish showing all around him,\u00a0 another angler Billy who was fishing on the bank and had 4 or 5 said that the fish were only interested in red and black and that he told the struggling chap from Newburgh, but alas it fell on deaf ears, however it is cold and I mean cold, only the die hard lads fish in this, what is completely out of character is the fish that are still breaking the surface and look like they are feeding, Brian Stewart, Dundee no relation, well he had 11 on Thursday while his mate Willie Robertson also Dundee retired to the lodge for some tea, too cold, also fishing was Ken Fraser, Cupar who had 7, 3 of which were Brown trout all his fish he said were well over 3 lbs and all caught on buzzers or nymphs\u2019, Sometimes I get really annoyed with the Fb page as it doesn\u2019t behave or do what I expect anyway found a message from two guys that were here on Saturday past\u201d Had an amazing 3 hours fishing with Kevin Macgregor here today, I had 13 on a yellow dancer and Kev, had 7 on the same fly plus 2 on a green n black bug, 22 fish to the boat in 3 hours is an amazing amount of fish, that\u2019s not counting the offers and misses and lost fish, +2 brownies all safely returned\u201d and here was me thinking you guys left cause you got fed up, but I assume you got frozen stiff, thanks for the message anyway, Next week on Sunday 27th<\/sup> is the \u201cGoldenloch Casting Clinic\u201d Please make an effort to pop along you will not be disappointed Brian McGlashan is on hand to instruct and advise on both single and double handed casting\u00a0 a few names already but more would be good<\/p>\n Want to enjoy a good days fishing then visit us @ the Goldenloch, fly fishing a field sport, john@goldenloch.co.uk<\/a> \u00a0or visit www.goldenloch.co.uk<\/a> \u00a0or our fb goldenlochfishing<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Goldenloch November-21st \u2013Week 47-2016 Its Monday 6.55am, as expected the loch is frozen over, its black dark outside, weather station has packed in, display says battery failure, I assume the cold has done that, zero wind and thank god for central heating, that\u2019s one thing about living out in the country, you need good<\/p>\n
