Goldenloch 23\/02\/2009<\/p>\n

Fly Fishing at the Goldenloch has been pretty good this past week, considering last Monday, a week ago we were still completely frozen over, Martin Nicol, Perth started last Tuesday by catching 4 using a tadpole, from the bank nearest the hill, he returned all, after that everyone just copied him Alex Fenton, Glenrothes, had 4 using buzzers, A Gibson, Bridge of Earn, 4 using his own flies, most people if not everyone had a least 3 fish using a large variety of flies, it must be noted however that the patterns being used are very much summer flies and floating lines, with everyone having a great time and really enjoying their fishing it looks like it should be a very exciting season, Over the weekend the weather was a little bit cooler, but the catches were still very good, Trevor Paterson, Lochore had 7 with 5 returned, Jim Ward Kirkcaldy using Buzzers, 7 keeping 3 for 9lbs and Ray Eastwood, Bankfoot, 5 all returned. <\/p>\n
