Trout Fishing season at the “Goldenloch”

The traditional Trout fishing season runs from the\u00a015th of March to 6th of October.<\/p>\n

Fishing is and always will be a persons individual pleasure, whether on your own, with mates, or in a club, just the exhilaration of the cast, expectation, or excitement, catching a fish is like a once in a lifetime opportunity, every time<\/u> you catch a fish, @ \u201cThe Goldenloch\u201d we wish that you our client come to enjoy your day, we cannot control the weather, but we do strive to give you a complete stress-free, hassle-free, tranquil environment, on arrival, easy vehicle access right to boat sides, allow for equipment to be decanted, at any time of the day, you can start and stop fishing at your desires, we have proper unique loch 3 to 2 to 1 \u00a0man boats, (no extra charge for single anglers) complete with anchors, nets, oars, bailers etc, which are available at no<\/u><\/strong> charge, or use our custom built jetties, unique in that they have back rests or bum seats, great for resting against, on the banks we have benches for your leisure all around the grass cut Lochside, car access is<\/u><\/strong> available in dry weather, allowing anglers with restricted movement, the freedom to get nearer the waters edge, in all there is nothing to stop you just arriving and going Fly Fishing, but genuinely just enjoy your visit.<\/p>\n

Coffee, or Tea available for free in the lodge there is a Toilet (mains electricity and water) and an Honesty box for payment should you wish to leave whilst there is no one available, also provided a weigh scale and a catches book for writing your days catch, this is important to us allowing an accurate account of fish stocks<\/p>\n

At the moment barring any imminent price rises from our supplier, we are going to keep our prices at what was our 2010 price level, this allows anglers the opportunity to afford some of the finest angling around, all we ask is that now you fish 100%\u00a0 barbless flies<\/u><\/strong>, last year with the really hot weather it saw a few fish struggle to survive and hopefully this winter will have seen them either heal or die.<\/p>\n

A price rise is expected<\/u><\/strong> in the cost of the fish, so as from the beginning of the official Brown trout season it may be that<\/u><\/strong> our prices will be as follows<\/p>\n
