{"id":151,"date":"2006-12-12T21:51:53","date_gmt":"2006-12-12T21:51:53","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2006-12-12T21:51:53","modified_gmt":"2006-12-12T21:51:53","slug":"john","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/goldenloch.co.uk\/index.php\/2006\/12\/12\/john\/","title":{"rendered":"Had no internet for a week due to storms"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Week ending 11\/dec\/06 goldenloch<\/p>\n<p>Fishing at the Goldenloch this past week has been more or less impossible due to the fierce winds that have blown almost continuously, however there are still some hardy lads prepared to give it a go, Gary Stewart, Dundee fished on Sunday morning for a few hours mostly in the shelter of the reeds at the far end, with many offers and bites, he eventually was beaten by the wind and left with 2 in the bag for 5lbs, Saturday was a much better day and most anglers caught their limit, John Hatton, Kirkcaldy however had a bad day and blanked, John is the guy that everybody knows as the bloke who usually arrives and fishes from the boat jetty and just catches fish after fish, this time however because the way the wind was blowing he went out in a boat, at the same time others were getting on great Pete Fleming Methil and partner had 3 each for 14lbs using allsorts of flies, the day before Friday was one of those days when the wind blew from four directions at the same time Mr and Mrs Billings, Lower Largo had an afternoon fishing, wearing clothes fit for a trip to the Antarctic both caught their limit and returned a few, never having been before asked if it was normal for the boat to spin round so much, Mr Billings commented that it was a tremendous way to cover such a big area.<\/p>\n<p>To book a boat or a place phone on 01337840412 or email to info@goldenloch.co.uk<br \/>\nYours sincerely: John Nicol.
