With the weather condition switch set at maximum anglers at the Goldenloch have been enjoying what can best be described as a fishing experience, blinding snow and sub zero conditions meant that the hardy were genuinely there to catch fish and catch they did, Mr J Silver, visiting from Kent and his son, had 11, all returned using a bloodworm and then moving onto Invictas, Colin McCarthy from Auchtermuchty and his neighbour who had never fished before had 4 in about an hour for 12lbs as David wasn\u2019t quite dressed for the conditions the heater in the lodge became a major attraction while Colin braved another few casts from the jetty into the wind, returning back to base camp looking like he had just been to the South Pole, exclaimed that he had lost another 2. More normal fishing was during the week which saw Tom Evans, Dunning catch 3 for 11lbs and return 3 using lures and Mr Smart Glenrothes 2 for 8lbs using a consett budgie he also returned a few, the next few weeks should see a return to more normal fishing.<\/p>\n
